There is nothing really much to say about me, i attend columbia college where i am a chemistry major. I like to do pretty much anything. Im open minded and game for whatever you can throw at me. Well, I'm not a carnival performer and when it comes to computers this is close to my limit, but the third one is spot on. I'm a bit of a quirky oddball, but on the other hand while I've often be accused of being a bit weird, I've rarely been accused of being boring. Mostly it seems that what others find odd results from my thinking outside the usual lines, and it never occurring to me to conform my views to some perceived norm.

I'm not the most knowledgeable when it comes to music, but my taste may give some indication of who I am. I can listen to Jonathan Coulton, Buddy Holly, the Offspring, Johnny Cash, Angie Aparo, the Bloodhound Gang, and Billy Joel all in one sitting.

I'm a big fan of movies (I have over 500 in my collection), I like to swim every day and scuba dive (when I can). I read (I often go through more than one book each week). I do a bit of writing (stories and poetry and even a bad love song once though I've yet to find someone I want to sing it to). I'm working on taking up boxing (no formal training, just enthusiasm and a heavy bag, plus every once in awhile a sparring match for fun), and when I'm in the mood cooking is a big thing too. I make a tomato pesto cream sauce you'd sell you grandmother for.

I play poker every week, but I'm not really a gambler. I enjoy a fine single malt scotch (my current preference is 15 yr Islays, specifically Laphroaig), and a good cigar, but like my gambling, I keep my drinking and smoking to limited occasions.

I have a fluffy little dog that wandered into my life that I wouldn't trade for anything. I never would have thought of myself as a lapdog kind of person, but when I met this one it was I take her or she goes to the pound. Turns out she's the best dog I've ever had.

I wouldn't be a geek if there weren't a few video and role-playing games thrown in there too. But didn't Robin Williams say "the geeks will inherit the earth"?

Im a nerd. Plain and simple ill admit it, im a video game geek and all that but hey everyone has their hobbies right. I believe in loving someone for who they are, not what they believe in or what they do, you love someone for them. Ive been through some rough stuff in my time but there are definately ppl who have had it worse, i generally dont talk about the past because ive found people dont want to hear about it. Well I'm a hard person to describe... I'm often shy at first but everyone who meets me loves my company! I like to work with my hands, be it on computers, cars, machines, you name it. I enjoy wheelin' in my Jeep off road in mud or trails, or riding my four-wheeler or powered bicycle! I'm a very caring person and can show a lot of love and affection if you are the person I want to be with. I love watching movies, and enjoy TV if there's nothing else to do activity-wise outside, I get "stuck" to watching TV almost regardless of what's on, it's like a magnet to my brain...very annoying at times. I love the outdoors and am a very active person. I love playing sports...played on a soccer team for 4 years, football 2, baseball 4, & most other recreational sports time to time. I also enjoy snowboarding, water skiing, mountain bike riding and hiking.

I'm a pharmacy student. I am awful about procrastinating. For instance, as I type this, I ought to be moving into my new apartment. Instead, I am fooling around here, and while the site is lovely, I attribute it more to my unwillingness to handle my business. I'm a little weird about that. You remember that old mexican lady from the movie Selena? Yeah, that was nuts. If you're the president of my freaking fan club you should at least be nice enough not to shoot me in a dirty motel. I mean, what is up with that? I really can't wait to get old. I'm gonna be the biggest freakin bitch, sittin on my crayola colored porch chasin kids away with my shotgun, flippin out at restaurants and grocery stores, pissin off daughters/sons in law. In general I'm a pretty quiet person; I like to think of myself as an intellectual (although I'm not nearly as brainy as some of my friends... I suppose it's the company we choose, though...) I am a Christian, and am planning on a career in the ministry. I love to read mostly anything, but my favorites are fantasy and historical fiction. I'm involved in community theater and I love musicals - anything that involves music, actually. I enjoy most every kind of music though I really don't like rap or any kind of screaming heavy metal/rock stuff. Probably my greatest obsession (well, it's not an obsession, but it's the closest I've got) would be with anything Disney. I suppose that's a decent start as far as a self-summary goes, so I'll stop there.

There is one thing I as well as members of my Sunday School Class and other Adult Sunday School Classes did that was very fulfilling. What was originally going to be a Christmas project turned into something much more. We had an idea of serving the children of Epworth Children's Home.
Our idea was to do makovers to the interior of the nine cottages on the Epworth campus. The idea took off right from the start and from January 2008 to October 2008 my Sunday School class as well as members of other Adult Sunday School Classes did makeovers in 2 rooms in 3 of the cottages. Seeing the joy and Excitement coming from the children gave me a great feeling inside. Hugs were exchanged as well. We still stay involved with them celebrating birthdays. It is so the seed is implanted in them where they know that they are loved.

Now what I consider to be the good. I am an avid reader, primarily of fiction but I've been known to enjoy a good book on philosophy, physics, or religion from time to time. I am not a religious person. I don't mean that as to say that I will not discuss religion, but I am firm in my own beliefs. I'm really bad at writing these things. I like technology, and anything to do with computers. Preferably Apple. Reading is a big hobby of mine, as well as watching movies, playing guitar and improving my photography. I'm pretty random and I don't really "fit" in any specific genre of person. I guess you could say I'm a bit of everything.

I love to travel and hope to make my way across the pond to England soon. My dream job is probably getting paid to travel places, and take photos. I don't like the idea that as Americans, we are better than others, and should be content with what we have here in this beautiful country. I see the world as this huge experience that I've yet to get into, and I'm not happy with just living my life in this one spot. There's so much to see and do in the world! Why the heck would I want to stay here?

That being said, you might be able to guess that I'm a very random person. I would be all for randomly packing a bag and taking a weekend trip somewhere. I like adventure and discovering new things. The only thing I need is someone to experience that with!
